Well File Scans: All well files at OGSR Library have been scanned in their entirety. All forms, papers, reports, and documents held within each well file has been scanned front and back to capture as much data as possible. All new documents are scanned as they are received and will automatically appear on this page. Make sure to look at all the well file
scans, as historic records quite often contain handwritten notes from the drillers and could offer additional information.

February 15th, 2017 (TODAY) is the deadline for 2016 annual reports to be received by MNRF.
Submission forms can be found on the forms section of our website, excel versions are also available. Please do not hesitate to contact the Library if you require any extra assistance in completing your forms.
Please see the attached Newsrelease, failure to report on time can have significant consequences. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is taking failure to report on time seriously. This is a legislated requirement and compliance rates have been decreasing over the last few years. The Compliance team has various options that can be considered in cases of non-compliance.

2017 OPI Conference |
The OGSR Library will be hosting a Student Poster Competition at this year's OPI Conference!
University and college students are eligible to participate in the OGSR Student Poster Competition. The topic of the competition needs to be relevant to the OPI Conference Theme: Play by Play – Exploring the Michigan Basin, a list of accepted topics is listed in the application (found below).
Applications can be downloaded here and are due May 11th, 2017.
