Did you know? Well licence prefix definitions:
T - numbered wells refer to all official well licences (true licences) and includes wells drilled mainly post-1950. These were originally issued as drilling permits, before transitioning to well licences.
F- numbered, N- numbered, and H - numbered wells are essentially "false" wells and are given to wells for the sole purpose of tracking them in our databases, these wells must be licensed before they can be worked on
The differences between the three "false" well prefix types is related to the data entry project for which they were digitized.

2017 OPI Conference |
The OGSR Library will be hosting a Student Poster Competition at this year's OPI Conference!
University and college students are eligible to participate in the OGSR Student Poster Competition where they could qualify for a $400 OGSR Trust Scholarship. The topic of the competition needs to be relevant to the OPI Conference Theme: Play by Play – Exploring the Michigan Basin, a list of accepted topics is listed in the application (found below).
Applications can be downloaded here and are due May 11th, 2017.
