Monthly Tip

Besides being Ontario's #1 source of geologic data and resources, the OGSR Library houses numerous publications, unpublished student theses and maps. A detailed Catalog of Items is available for download and the Library is open to the public Monday - Friday from 8AM-4:30PM.  If you see an item in the catalog you'd like to view, the Library can scan it for you!
Speaking of data, the 2016 Pool Production Operator search is now live online through the OGSR Library Website 
The Pool Production Database has been updated to reflect 2016 Production and is available to members upon request.

Save the date for this year's GIS Open House Day! November 17th, 10AM-3PM at 669 Exeter Rd. 

The event will showcase real-life applications of GIS Data and Geoscience Resources through interactive demonstrations such as 3D photogrammetry, ultraviolet fluorescence, core displays, mineral identification, and GIS tutorials.
Industry participants include City of London and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Stop by throughout the day for refreshments, activities and custom library campfire mugs. Pizza will be served during lunch.
OGSR Library members will receive free on-demand GIS consultations and data packages. We encourage you to sit down and discuss your data management needs and see how our technologies can help get your projects off the ground.
